Professional experience

• started his legal career in the system of law enforcement bodies, then worked as a legal counsel on different legal issues of a large company; in 2002, he was admitted to the Bar and started his career as an advocate being a member of the Sverdlovsk Regional Chamber of Lawyers;

• founded Puchkov&Partners in 2008 together with his peer Aleksey Zakharov

• From 2017 up to present engaged in teaching at the Ural State Law University

  2019: appointed the Chairman of the Board at LOYS Attorneys at Law after the Puchkov&Partners rebranding process

  2021: appointed the Associate Professor at the Department of Criminal Law.

  2023: appointed in the position Professor of the Criminal Law Department of Ural State Law University.

• Denis Puchkov specializes in complex corporate cases involving a variety of separate disputes, as well as bankruptcy cases. These cases are jointly managed by the civil and arbitration practices, which he successfully oversees. In one of the last cases, he achieved a settlement agreement between the parties to the corporate dispute, which amounted to more than 3 billion rubles. Denis Puchkov also conducts a comprehensive defense in criminal cases related to official and corruption crimes. He represents the interests of state employees, advises municipal administrations, regional governments, and also represents the interests of diplomatic missions in the territory of the Russian Federation – the United States, Germany, and the Italian Republic.
