In 2018, Puchkov & Partners law firm celebrated its tenth anniversary, and we are glad that you were with us on this holiday. Over the years, we have done a lot to protect citizens, develop legislation and legal education both in Russia and far beyond its borders. We did not stop for a minute, offering our clients modern solutions to the most complex problems. We worked throughout Russia and abroad, protecting Russian and foreign clients, and always found solutions to their problems, guided by the law. This was the reason for our slogan «the Law is on your side».
This decade we showed who we are, how we work and what we do, and much of what we did – we did for the first time. We have proved that criminal practice can work as a full-fledged law firm. We were the first to propose the construction of intellectual property protection by criminal law instruments. We were the first to organize one of the large – scale legal events in the field of criminal law- «Kovalyov Readings», which went far beyond the criminal law specialization. We became the first and only law firm from the regions of Russia that was rated by Chambers and partners as a federal company. These are our achievements and we are proud of them.
Now comes a new milestone in our history. We address our customers by repeating these simple but important words: «The law is on your side». We want to convey this not only in the slogan, but also in our name. So, we are happy to announce that we are now LOYS.
We are very optimistic about the future of LOYS. Our plans are quite serious – we will build completely new business processes that will become the engine of development of our legal network in the coming years. We plan to cover the territory of Russia within five years, and within the next five we hope to complete the creation of a global network, covering all key financial centers.
